Moreover, they also obtain experience leading new business in Tier-1 Startup Companies of the industry, as well as the Commercial on-the-ground experience with the combination of industry, academia, research. Our headquarter has more than 1,000 square feet of R&D center and we have set up Microagale-Discovery-Platform and Flexibility-Program-Cellfactory and four R&D centers to support our research and development: a rich germplasm library screening center, an experimental evolutionary transformation center based on microfluidic technology, a world-leading high-density fermentation amplification center, a professional efficacy evaluation and science dissemination center. The company has tons of pilot production cooperation base in South Taihu Lake Biomedical Industrial Park in Huzhou City, and several pipelines are carrying out pilot production work one after another.
As the only company in the world that builds green manufacturing of marine microalgae and industrial microbial chassis at the same time, LightSyn Technology has tapped into the rich marine microbial resources and unique bioactives to develop a number of innovative pipelines, as well as utilizing synthetic biotechnology to build cellular factories to lay out organic acids, polyols, natural product derivatives and other green raw materials with different market scales, which have great potential for application in downstream scenarios such as beauty care, food and healthcare, green agriculture and so on. Founder and CEO
Joint program doctor of China Agricultural University and Wageningen University & Research, a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University. Continuously carry out research on the industrial dynamics of synthetic biology technology in the direction of beauty and agri-food, and has worked as a R&D partner in the Agricultural Research Institute of Vanke Group, a Fortune 500 company, as well as senior manager of the Food Business Unit. Carry out research on the application of microbial technology and involve in the breeding of Vanke Group's food BUs. Responsible for the establishment of the Agriculture and Food Business Unit in a well-known synthetic biology company and the commercial application and intellectual property layout of the efficacy molecules developed by synthetic biology in the precision agriculture and future food sectors.
Be awarded with DuPont Research Scholarship, China Scholarship Council, China Postdoctoral Fund, National Natural Science Foundation of China and other scientific research grants, Shenzhen Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Association Consultant Specialist, Tianjin University of Science and Technology external tutor, the second prize of the China Light Industry Association (on the research and development and application of efficacy molecules in the development of synthetic biology technology), the Science and Technology Advancement Award of the China General Chamber of Commerce, and other scientific research achievements and industrial honors.
